Our story

Sarah and Sam have always been passionate about telling stories. They met studying creative writing at the University of East Anglia. Soon after, they were married and thinking about sharing the ancestor stories that they loved with their daughter. But sifting through the clutter was trickier than they imagined, and they couldn't work out how to pull everything together into something that could last.

Until they created Keepsake Family History. Combining their writing experience with a fascination for new technology, Keepsake was created as a unique genealogy platform that puts story craft at the heart of family history - with a bespoke 'story engine' that handles transcription, organisation and prompting to support users in bringing their ancestors' stories to life.
